The organising committee of the international conference “Our Climate – Our Future: Regional Perspectives on a Global Challenge” is pleased to announce the availability of travel grants to help selected students attend the conference, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, 23–25 September 2019.
The grant will cover the travel costs, lodging, and registration fees.
The REKLIM coordination office will assist the awardees with their travel arrangements.
Application procedure and materials:
Please submit your abstract via the registration/abstract submission page.
Please fill out the PDF application form (see below) and mail it to the email address provided in the form.
Each application must include:
- Contact details, including a current email address
- An explanation of the need for support
- A statement on the impact the conference is likely to have on your scholarly or professional career
- The abstract of your submitted presentation via the online registration form
- An estimate of your travel costs (as specific as possible)
- A short curriculum vitae
Additional documents to accompany your application
A signed letter of recommendation from the supervisor of your current research project (max. 1000 characters including spaces) must be attached to your email together with the filled-out application form.

All applications must be in written form, incomplete applications will not be considered.
After your application
Decisions on awarding travel grants will be based on the applicant’s need and the expected quality of the applicant’s contribution to the conference. Travel grants will be awarded without regard to applicants’ nationality, ethnicity, gender, religious affiliation, age, academic discipline, or profession.
